Who We Are

Thriving Tree Teaching is a PEI-based team supporting neurodivergent children, teens, and families through in-home and virtual family support—plus community programming across Prince Edward Island.

Our Story

Thriving Tree Teaching began with a simple goal: to make support feel practical, respectful, and truly usable in everyday life. We saw families and youth doing their best while juggling school demands, home routines, and community expectations—and we wanted to offer something that fit real life, not just a “one-size-fits-all” approach. Our work is grounded in the belief that connection comes first. When kids feel understood and supported, and when families feel empowered rather than judged, meaningful progress becomes possible.

Our approach is collaborative and strengths-based. We take time to notice patterns, clarify goals, and understand what’s happening beneath the surface—then we co-create a plan that matches your routines and your child’s needs. Along the way, we coach, model, and adjust together, keeping strategies realistic and sustainable. Support might look like in-home work across Prince Edward Island, virtual coaching for flexibility, or Island based programming that helps kids and teens build confidence and connection in community.

Success, to us, looks like more calm, more clarity, and a sense of “we can do this.” It’s families having tools that work in the moments that matter most—during transitions, tough routines, social challenges, or big feelings—and feeling confident using those tools independently over time.
