What Are Tween Social Nights?

Tween Social Nights are a supportive, group-based program in a safe and comfortable environment. The focus is helping tweens build social confidence through shared interests and engaging activities—without making it feel forced or high-pressure.

Each session is designed around collaborative, tween-led social engagement, so participants are actively involved in the experience and can connect naturally while doing something together.

To strengthen real-world connection (when applicable), the program may include community experts who guide activities, plus facilitated field trips to local community spaces and hubs—giving tweens a chance to explore interests in real settings while being supported.

What to Expect (10 Weekly Sessions)

The program runs for 10 weekly sessions (90 minutes each), focused on collaborative activities and tween-led social engagement.

Session 1 — Getting Started

With guidance, tweens work together to vote on the activities for the term. We focus on comfort, safety, and ensuring every tween has a voice in the program’s direction.

Sessions 2–9 — Group Activities

We have all activities and supplies ready for the night. Each session features a participant-chosen theme where tweens engage, have fun, and continue building friendships in a semi-structured environment.

Hands-On Support

Specialists provide direct coaching during activities to support social interactions in the moment (if/when needed) in a low-pressure way.
